Agartala, Agartala is the capital city of Tripura, a northeast Indian state. The huge, white Ujjayanta Palace, built in 1901 by Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya, has Mughal-style gardens with fountains. It houses the Tripura Government Museum, where displays include 9th-century sculptures. Nearby, ornate columns and pointed domes mark the Hindu temple Jagannath Bari. North, Rabindra Kanan park has flowerbeds and a puppet house.

DAY 01- ARRIVAL AT AGARTALA AIRPORT /RAILWAY STATION & DRIVE TO HOTEL

DAY 02- AGARTALA LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast take a tour to Lakshminarayan Temple, Uma Maheshwar Temple, Jaganath Temple and Portuguese Church. Later take a city tour to Ujjayanta Palace, State and Tribal Museum, Malanch Niwas and Handicraft Designing Centre. Overnight stay at Agartala.

State Museum: This massive white palace features galleries with exhibits on the state of Tripura.
Ujjayanta Palace: The Ujjayanta Palace is a museum and the former palace of the Kingdom of Tripura situated in Agartala, which is now the capital of the Indian state of Tripura.
Lakshmi Narayan Temple: The Lakshmi Narayan Temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Lakshminarayan. It is situated near the main entrance of the famous Ujjayanta Palace and was constructed more than 100 years ago by Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya. An icon of Lord Krishna was installed in this divine tourist spot of Agartala around 50 years ago by Krishnananda Sevayet. Legends narrate the story of Lord Krishna whose life sport is closely related to the Bhagavata Tamal tree planted 35 years ago in front of the temple. The festival of Janmashtmi is celebrated with great fervour here every year.
Portuguese Church: The Tripura Baptist Christian Union (TBCU) is the largest Christian Groups in the Indian state of Tripura. It has its head office in Agartala, the state capital.
Malancha Niwas: Malancha Niwas tour is a very interesting tour that all the tourists want to take. This is also situated in the western district of Tripura, in the country of India. This house has become so important as because Rabindra Nath Tagore once stayed in this house when he was visiting the state of Tripura. All the domestic as well as the foreign tourists come to this house positively because they want to see where the great poet stayed. The state government has played up the mane of this house to promote the tourism of this place. there are also many private tour operators that work here.
Jagannath Mandir: Jagannath Mandir located within the Ujjayanta Palace grounds in Agartala, India this temple is dedicated to the Hindu Gods Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra.

DAY 03- EXCURSION TO NEERMAHAL AND RETURN BACK TO HOTEL IN AGARTALA

After breakfast proceed to Fourteen Goddess Temple. After which you will be taken to Neermahal- a magnificent lake combination of Hindu & Moghul architecture and is the only lake in Eastern India. Overnight at Agartala.

Fourteen Goddess Temple: Fourteen Goddess Temple is located about 14 Km. away from Agartala at a place called Old Agartala. In the face of continued fight with Shamser Gazi, Maharaja Krishna Manikya had shifted the capital from Udaipur to Old Agartala. It continued to be the capital till it was shifted to Agartala. Near the sacred 14 goddess temple during the month of July every year a Kharchi festival is organised and thousands of pilgrims and devotees visit this festival. It is a local saying that one who visits Tripura Fourteen Goddess Temple once comes in Agartala fourteen times more.
Neermahal: Neermahal is a former royal palace built by Maharaja of Tripura Kingdom Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Debbarma of the erstwhile Kingdom of Tripura, India in the middle of the lake Twijilikma in 1930 and was completed by 1938. It is situated in Melaghar, 53 kilometers away from Agartala, the capital of Tripura.

DAY 4- TRANSFER FROM HOTEL TO AIRPORT /RAILWAY STATION

Morning after breakfast drive to Airport. On arrival transfer to the airport / railway station for onward connection.
