Tashi View Point, This charming little Tashi View Point is a perfect place to witness the brilliant surroundings like mountains, valleys and Gangtok itself. This famous tourist point is located at a distance of 8 km from the town and is mostly known for offering some of the best sunrise and sunset views. One can witness the changing of colours of the Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu Peaks as the sun slowly moves from this view point along with the glimpse famous monasteries of Gangtok, Phodong and Labrang. Ganesh Tok, Ganesh Tok is a small temple and a loved viewpoint in Gangtok. Situated on top of a hill, the quaint place has mind-stirring views – the Kanchenjunga hill can be seen in its true form of glory from here and is at its best especially in the morning. The Ganesh Tok viewpoint, situated at a distance of 6500, offers stunning views of the mountains dusted with snow. The temple (dedicated to Lord Ganesh) is, however, so small that it can only fit one person at a time. The sublime place takes you a step closer to nature with its surreal surroundings and comforting ambience. The Ganesh Tok Temple itself is quite small. Colourful flags are tied across the stairs making it stand out. There is a place where shoes can be kept safe, and hands can be washed before entering the temple. There is also a lounge and a balcony in front of the temple which is the main attraction of the place. The serene Ganesh Tok is surrounded by hills, landscape, and beautiful mountains. It is so overcrowded that the devotees have to go down on all fours to worship Lord Ganesha.

Hanuman Tok, Hanuman Tok is a Hindu temple complex which is located in the upper reaches of Gangtok, the capital of the Indian state of Sikkim. The temple is dedicated to lord Hanuman, and maintained by the Indian army. It was established in 1952.

2. GANESH TOK

Ganesh Tok is a small Ganesh Temple located 7 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 6500 m and can accommodate just one person at a time and one has to crawl to reach there. But a panoramic view of the entire town of Gangtok, the Raj Bhavan complex and mount Kanchenjunga can be seen from here and makes for a breathtaking view.

3. HANUMAN TOK

This immaculate and a divine place located in the upper reaches of Gangtok, Hanuman Tok is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the Hindu monkey God. It is a temple complex that is swarmed by devotees from all over the country. This shrine in Sikkim is located 11 kms from Gangtok,on the road to another famous attraction, Nathula. A visit to this place will make you feel spiritual; as soon as you ascend the stairs, a far distant prayer comes into sight and religious music is heard. The best part of it all, is the view one gets, which comprises a site of a small part of Gangtok town and the alluring neighbouring hills and valleys.
