Imphal, Imphal is the capital of Manipur, a state in northeastern India. On the Imphal River, Kangla Fort was once the seat of local rulers, and now houses relics. On the south side of the centuries-old Polo Ground, Manipur State Museum has displays including tribal artifacts and a large royal boat. Next to the former Royal Palace, Shri Shri Govindaji Temple has twin domes, a large hall and shrines to Hindu gods.

DAY 01- ARRIVAL AT AIRPORT IMPHAL & TRANSFER TO HOTEL

On arrival transfer to hotel & check in at Hotel. After lunch visit Kangla Fort, Ima Market, Shahid Minar and World’s Oldest Polo ground.

Kangla Palace: The Palace of Kangla is an old palace at Imphal in the Manipur state of India. It was situated on both sides of the bank of the Imphal River. But now it remains only on the western side of the bank. Only the ruins remain now. Kangla means "dry land" in old Meetei.
Ima Market: Ima Keithel, also known as Ima Market or Nupi Keithel is a market run exclusively by women in Imphal, India. It is a commercial center and a popular tourist attraction in Manipur. It has shifted its location within Imphal over the years and is currently located in Khawairaband Bazaar.
Shaheed Minar: The indomitable spirit of the patriotic Meitei and tribal martyrs, who sacrificed their lives while fighting against the British in1891, is commemorated by this tall Minar at Bir Tikendrajit Park in the heart of Imphal city.
Polo Ground (Mapal Kangjeibung): The oldest polo ground in the world is the Imphal Polo Ground in Manipur State. The history of this pologround is contained in the royal chronicle "Cheitharol Kumbaba" starting from AD 33.

DAY 02- FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING OF LOKTAK & RETURN BACK TO IMPHAL

After breakfast visit Loktak lake(largest fresh water lake in north east) then proceed to, INA Memorial(Indian tri color was first hoisted here by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army), Japanese War Memorial. Overnight in Imphal.
Places Include:
Loktak Lake and Sendra Island: The largest fresh water lake in the country, Loktak Lake and the Sendra Island on it, are one of the most beautiful attractions of the state. Situated about 50 km from Imphal, Loktak Lake is situated in the valley of Imphal and is home to all the rivers and rivulets that run in the state of Manipur.
Loktak Lake and Sendra Island present a combination of beauty unmatched anywhere else in the country. One is the largest freshwater lake in India while the other a floating island made of organic waste on the very same lake, housing the only tourist home in the area. The Lake consist within itself many other floating islands which sustain fishermen villages and are also made of organic waste. The pristine water, the labyrinth of boat routes, the greenery of the surroundings and the riveting crimson sunset, provide one a mesmerizing site. Loktak Lake and Sendra Island are treasures of a dynamic ecosystem and demand protection and preservation. In recent years human encroachment has led to shrinkage of the lake.

INA Memorial: Once used as the unofficial headquarters of the Indian National Army, this memorial was built to honour the soldiers who had sacrificed their lives for India. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose motivated and formed armies here to participate in the freedom struggle.

Imphal War Memorial: The Imphal War Cemetery is located in Imphal, the capital of the Indian state of Manipur, in Northeast India, which has an international border with upper Burma. The cemetery has 1,600 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

DAY 03- IMPHAL TO MOREH EXCURSION & RETURN BACK TO IMPHAL

Leave early in the morning and visit Govindajee Temple then proceed to the Indo-Myanmar Border Town of Moreh. On reaching there we will hire a local auto and cross over to the Myanmar side to see altogether a different culture and lifestyle in their nearest town of Tamu. There we will make a quick visit to the Buddhist Pagoda and the Local Market, then spend some time in the Namphalong market. Return back to Moreh and overnight.
Places Include:
Shri Shri Govindaji Temple: Shree Govindajee Temple is the largest Hindu, Vaishnav temple in Imphal. It is located next to the palace of the former rulers of the then Manipur Kingdom. The temple is simple in design with two gold plated domes, a paved court and a large, raised mantapa or congregation hall.

India-Myanmar border: Moreh is a town located on the India-Myanmar border in the Tengnoupal district of the Indian state of Manipur. The town is mainly inhabited by Kuki, with Tamil, Nepali, Meitei, Punjabi, Telugu, Bihari, Marwari and Muslim Pangals.

DAY 04- MOREH TO IMPHAL

After breakfast drive back to Imphal en route visit the beautiful Kakching Garden and Khongjom War Memorial, it is the place where the last battle of Manipur's independence was fought against the British army in 1891.

DAY 05- IMPHAL TO UKHRUL

After breakfast leave for Ukhrul - a picturesque hill town of Manipur - which lies about 84 km kilometers to the North East of Imphal . The place is inhabited by Tangkhul Tribes. The life and art of Tangkhuls are attractive and captivating. Their different costumes and wears, utensils, architecture, monumental erections and memorial set-up depicts their dexterity in art, which also speak of their sense of beauty and finesse. Later visit the Nungbi Village known for its black pottery and explore the Nungbi village.

Overnight in Ukhrul.

DAY 06- UKHRUL TO IMPHAL

After breakfast leave for trekking at Shirui peak, famous for Shirui Lily, which is grown only in this place. Later return back to Imphal. Evening at leisure.

DAY 7- END YOUR TOUR WITH LOT OF FUN MEMORIES- TRANSFER TO IMPHAL AIRPORT

After breakfast check out from hotel. Proceed to Airport back home, having had a great adventure.
