DAY 1 : NJP/BAGDOGRA TO CHATAKPUR

Meet and greet at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Proceed to the pre-booked Chatakpur Homestay or Chatakpur Eco Village Resort. Chatakpur is an untouched hamlet settled in the middle of Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary. The road towards Chatakpur is quite scenic and about 75 kilometres away. After covering these three hours of driving distance, reach Chatakpur and check-in to the homestay. During the evening you are all yours to stroll around the village. DAY 2 : CHATAKPUR SIGHTSEEING TOUR

After Breakfast, proceed towards the full day Chatakpur Sightseeing. Walk around the village to explore 30 huts and its total occupants less than a hundred. Being one of the secluded tourist destinations of the region, the village benefits from organic farming of vegetables through terrace farming. Local people sustain their livelihood through this but nowadays tourism is also one of their sources of livelihood. Visit the lush greenery of Chatakpur, wooden bungalows, trail and trekking routes. Find solace in the lap of nature while forgetting all the hustle and bustle of city life. While wandering around the village, hear melodious chirping of the Himalayan Birds. DAY 3 : TRANSFER TO LAMAHATTA

Post breakfast at the hotel proceed towards the next destination Lamahatta Tour. As you reach Lamahatta, the first place to halt would be the Lamahatta Roadside Garden. Situated on a hill slope, this beautiful garden is surrounded by pine forests containing numerous seasonal flowers, as well as several rare and exotic species of orchids. As you go up, the canopy of firs and conifers start crossing you.

DAY 4 : LAMAHATTA SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast at the hotel go for a short excursion in and around Lamahatta. It offers a tranquil atmosphere for all those looking for some peace away from city life. Relish the beauty of the pine trees standing majestically, the mighty Kanchenjunga with colourful Buddhist prayer flags. The sightseeing places around Lamahatta are :

Lamahatta Eco Park Tour : This Roadside Garden is one of Lamahatta’s major attractions. It is surrounded by pine forests containing numerous seasonal flowers, as well as several rare and exotic species of orchids. Browsing through the beautiful array of flowers on display, visitors can also relax on the numerous benches while enjoying the views of Mt. Kanchenjungha. The watchtower is located at a strategic location that helps visitors to enjoy panoramic views of the juncture of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Sikkim Hills, River Teesta and the River Rangeet.

Dense Dhupi Plantations : Small walks and treks are possible from Lamahatta. Walking amidst the Dhupi plantations with lush green flora all around provides a thrilling experience.

Tea Estates : Visit the tea gardens nearby (you will get one within about 1.5kms). Some of the well-known tea estates nearby include Glenburn Tea Estate, Rangli Rangliot Tea Estate, Takdah Tea Estate etc.

Tinchuley : Visit the wonderful hamlet Tinchuley which is 6 kms from Lamahatta. The road passes through the lovely Peshok Tea Gardens. Tinchuley is famous for the excellent views of Kanchenjunga and the numerous orange orchards it has.

DAY 5 : LAMAHATTA TO BAGDOGRA / NJP DROP

After breakfast proceed towards NJP / Bagdogra [IXB] with sweet vacation memories.
